Nips Jellies

"You wanna know what happens in a bag of NIPS?"  This is the first line of the commercial jingle of NIPS Chocolate.  Since childhood I love the Chocolate flavored NIPS and now they have different variants which I've also tried. The variants are the following:  with peanut, rice crispy and sunflower seeds.  And now, the new variant:

If you like jelly candies and chocolates,  then you must try this.  The combination of the chocolate and jelly candy by NIPS is really delicious and I find it unique because so far,  I haven't tried something like this.  Crunchy on the outside, chewy in the inside.  I really enjoy munching that I find it addicting haha.  I prefer eating this after eating a meal of course or even after eating something salty and  I'll be eating this while watching a movie after eating a popcorn.  We were able to buy this at Puregold Fairview and at Trinoma Landmark Supermarket.  Puregold we bought a box of this because there's no individual packs for sale but in Landmark,  you can buy it by box or by piece.  A box of this costs 159 pesos in Trinoma and it contains 16 packs of NIPS Jellies.  I can say that it's not that expensive and we didn't waste money upon buying for the first time because it tastes good.  The sweetness of the chocolate and jelly is just right, not too sweet.

Unlike the other NIPS with different colors, the colors of the NIPS Jellies are violet, red, orange and yellow as you can see on the package.  How it looks:

Then I tried to look what's inside the NIPS Jellies

The color of the jelly has different colors as well.  This one has a red jelly inside.  Then the other one,  I removed the shell and this is how it looks without the chocolate and shell:

Now this one is color green.

The jelly inside the NIPS varies in different colors but all tastes the same.  Well it doesn't say in the package that it contains different flavors and I appreciate the product having different colors of jellies even most of the people will not mind looking what's the color inside.

So if you wanna know what happens in a bag of NIPS JELLIES,  then you should try it out and buy now.

Royal Tru Lemon

A month ago we went to SM City Novaliches just to buy some food supplies at the supermarket. Then we saw this...

Upon seeing this Royal Tru Lemon with our eyes WIDE OPEN haha,  we immediately grabbed one bottle and took a closer look because it's new and it looks refreshing.  We bought two bottles.

Closer look of the Royal Tru Lemon:
If the color looks refreshing, same goes for the taste!  The taste is similar to Mountain Dew but a lighter version of the lemon taste.  You will really enjoy your lunch/dinner when you have Royal Tru Lemon for drinks because it tastes REALLY GOOD!  And if you try to savor the taste while drinking, there's this cool after taste which I really like.  From now on,  Royal Tru Lemon is my second love.  (My first love is the Royal Tru Orange because I'd always drink it whenever I'm sick when I was a child.)  I hope that it will also be available in restaurants and fast foods soon because from then on,  I'd always want Royal Tru Lemon whenever I'm eating.  I hope you'd give this a try because it's worth it.

From then on, whenever we go to the supermarket,  we would always look for this.  But sad to say,  since it's new,  it's not available in most of the stores in our area.  I think it's only available in SM supermarkets.   My hubby said there's Royal Tru Lemon in 7/11 but only in 500ml.  So, if you want to give it a try,  you can buy at 7/11.

Thanks for taking time to read about  my review on Royal Tru Lemon.  'Til next time! :)

About Me and My Blog

Many people know me as a musician and a music teacher but I've chosen to blog about food and life.  It's because I wish to inspire people, specially my former students who loves to share to me their problems of different sorts.  And I believe that my personal experiences would help a LOT of people. When it comes to blogging about food, it's because I love to eat and I love exploring new kinds of food, (not exotic) latest food/drink product and of course the place where you can enjoy eating.  This blog serves food for the body and for your thoughts as well.

Before I came up with my blog name,  I asked my husband's advice, (Miyer)  for help.  I just told him that I want to blog about food and life and he came up with the title "EAT'S LIFE".  I want to take this opportunity to thank him for helping me out with that, and with my website.

I have chosen pictures of my family as my blog template because during meal time, we get to talk about our lives, enjoying each other's company while enjoying the food that we eat.  For my header and footer image,  it's a picture of my son when he was just 3 years old. Good thing I've taken pictures of him at SM North Edsa when they had a theme like the Chocolate Factory so I just edited the two pictures so I could use it for this blog.

If you need advice on anything please do e-mail me, you will find my e-mail address below at the footer image.  I will publish the e-mail (but I will not publish your name of course) and my advice.  If you wish to use a code name, you may do so.

I'll be posting my first food review tomorrow and I hope you'd visit this blog from time to time.  Thanks and have a good day!
